Walkathon for the “School Development Fund”
Date: 15th February, 2026 (Sunday)
Gathering Time: 8:30 a.m.
Starting Time/Place: 9:00 a.m, Chiu Sheung School, Hong Kong
Route: Lung Fu Shan Hiking Trail: CSSHK –> University Road –> Hatton Road –> (1st Stop) Pinewood Battery –> Lugard Road –> (Finishing Stop) Peak Galleria.
Finishing stop: Participants can choose to finish the walk at the 1st Stop or continue walking to the Finishing Stop.
Walking time: Chiu Sheung School –> 1st stop, Pinewood Battery (Approximately 45 minutes)
Chiu Sheung School –> Peak Galleria (Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes)
Participants: Students, parents, teachers and alumni of CSSHK
Enrolment method and points to note:
- Participants invite their family or friends to sponsor for the walkathon. Please return or fax (25172483) the reply slip to school on or before 9th February. Alumni can also submit the donations on the walkathon day.
- Donation should be made by cheque (payable to “The IMC of Chiu Sheung School, Hong Kong”). Cash donation is also acceptable. For administrative convenience, the school will only accept banknotes for donations in cash and coins will not be accepted.
- Receipt will be issued to each sponsor for amount $100 or above (Donation is tax deductible).
- The Walkathon route may be changed after police approval. Any changes will be announced though the school website three days before the event.
- Under the Prohibition on Facial Covering Regulation (Cap.241K), participants are prohibited to use any facial covering which prevents identification at a public procession. Therefore, we urge all the participants to take off your mask during the walk.
